“Here it is — the feature you weren’t expecting. An ensuite of sorts. Unusual? Yes. Convenient? Absolutely.”

The toot really is out in the open, with no walls or door for privacy, and the cistern is recessed into the wall.

The three-bedroom character home on a 607 sqm block was built in the 1930s and is a true time capsule.

Mr Ramsay said the deceased estate sold offmarket and one family had previously owned it for generations.

“The gardens have been left to run wild, but under it is a piece of Greenslopes history you simply cannot rebuild.”

The location is certainly impressive. With a median house price of $1.47m, Greenslopes is about 6km from Brisbane’s CBD and Hunter Street is just a short stroll to Greenslopes Hospital, local cafes, parks, and public transport options.

“With the hospital, cafes, and transport just around the corner, it’s no wonder homes here get snapped up before they even hit the market,” Mr Ramsay said.
