“I have a thing for interior design; I wanted to add some colour and I tried to make it into a home, at the time it felt more like a hotel,” Astuto says.

“I am very family oriented as well so I wanted to create something for kids and extended family.”

It’s now listed for private sale with $2.195m to $2.395m price hopes.

She is selling to move onto her next project.

“I’m going to miss the view of the lake from the living room and waking up to birds,” Astuto says.

“There’s a lot of parrots and kookaburras. It’s a special offering and needs a special buyer… who sees the beauty and uniqueness.”
