A renderer’s home transformed with $1.2 million of microcement covering walls, floors, ceilings and even custom-built furniture will go under the hammer in Robina.

Matthew Mannion, of Render Render, bought the 1980s-built home for $1.44m in July last year and, with a team of tradies, spent at least 12,000 hours hand-trowelling more than 2,500 sq m of finely coated concrete to create a seamless, modern look.

The six-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 7 Turnberry Ct is marketed by Ray White Malan + Co agent, Ricky Agent, and goes to auction on September 12.

Mr Mannion said he aimed to create a “statement home” with built-in cabinetry, bespoke LED lighting, and resort-style outdoor entertaining and wellness zones.

The property also features three bars, which will be fully stocked for the new owner with 60 bottles of Mortimer Wines, Burleigh Brewing beer, and 18 bottles of Sunny Days Vodka.

“I wanted to create a real statement in the area, and I reckon we’ve done that,” Mr Mannion said.

“It probably took me seven months, working 60 hours per week with six other guys to microcement it – but I love the finished product.

“It makes people’s mouths drop when they walk in.

“I personally love the pool and bbq area – when the sun sets every afternoon, it pierces right through the palm tree and it’s just magic,” he said.
