Top Florida real estate team signs on with Compass

Compass has added The Korman Group — a high-performing real estate team led by Michael Korman — to its South Florida operations.

The group will base its work out of Compass’s Boca Raton office, with operations extending into Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Jupiter.

Korman, who previously served as founder and principal of the independent brokerage Korman Realty — leads a team that has handled more than $400 million in real estate transactions since 2019, including $100 million-plus in 2024.

Over the past six years, Korman expanded his firm to 40 agents across four offices, with a focus on high-end residential sales.

Korman, a graduate of the University of Central Florida, has ranked consistently in the top 1% of U.S. real estate agents since 2019. He was most recently named the No. 10 agent in Boca Raton by individual sales volume, according to RealTrends Verified.

Joining Korman at Compass are several longtime collaborators and industry veterans:

• Grant Winters‑Gullo, Korman’s business partner for over eight years, who played a key role in building Korman Realty and brings prior experience from The Corcoran Group.
• Maggie Sarubbi, senior director of luxury sales and founder of The Sarubbi Group, who brings 23 years of brokerage leadership to the team.
• Brianna Lombardo, a top-producing agent and the team’s brand ambassador.
• Dustin Opalka, a founding member of Korman Realty, recognized for sales performance across South Florida.
• Anthony Paolini, who joins the team as its commercial real estate lead.
