The king of quirky and bizarre Melbourne real estate videos is back with a brand new clip which buyers are McLoving.

BigginScott Glen Waverley director Ming Xu is known for his unorthodox listing videos including a homage to the Taken movie franchise voiced by none other than film star Liam Neeson himself.

In another clip, Mr Xu dressed as a bull and was chased by his colleague, Eric Liu, who was garbed as a traditional Spanish matador.

Their latest offering, recorded to showcase a five-bedroom house at 5 Domino Court, Wheelers Hill, stars Mr Liu and fellow agent Richard Qiu in costume as the Maccas’ mascot Ronald McDonald.

Mr Xu said he was inspired to adopt the McDonalds theme for the video after discovering the home’s owner had previously owned two of the fast food outlets.

“McDonalds represents happiness and so with this, we can feel the happiness in this home,” Mr Xu said.

In the video, Mr Qiu and Mr Liu – dressed in red wigs and bright clown yellow clothing – greet people inspecting the home.

They also pose for photos, jump up from behind a couch and gather in a circle to show off their colourful socks along with other BigginScott agents who were recruited as extras for the recording.

The house’s light-filled, Hamptons-style interiors are a highlight alongside the laundry, ducted heating, evaporative cooling, and a remote-operated double garage.

The house is close to schools, Brentwood Reserve, the Scotchmans Creek Trail, Brandon Park shopping centre, Wheelers Hill shopping centre, The Glen shopping centre, buses and Monash Freeway.

The agency purchased 60 pairs of Ronald McDonald House Charities’ (RMHC) socks to gift to people who inspect the house at open home events, with some of the socks already claimed by potential buyers.

RMHC sells the socks to raise for its programs that support ill children and their families.

Mr Xu said he did consider giving Happy Meals to buyers who inspected the house but opted for the socks instead as they made for “a better and more meaningful memory”.

“I enjoyed being the director for the video, I enjoy being in the person to help Eric and Richard get dressed up and also put on the make-up,” Mr Xu said.

“And I got them to get red lipstick from their wives.”

The double-storey house shown in the clip is for sale with a $1.96m-$2.15m asking range, and will likely be auctioned at a future date.

Set on 728sq m, the Hamptons-style home features three living areas, three bathrooms and a landscaped outdoor area with an undercover entertainers’ deck, open paved courtyard and a firepit.

“I think that the whole house just feels like a family home, it has a well-presented, easy floor plan and is good for families to get together,” Mr Xu said.

“It’s in the golden mile of Wheelers Hill in a nice, quiet, secure court location – whoever lives there can walk to Wheelers Hill Primary School and also Caulfield Grammar.”

Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite, while there’s also a central family bathroom upstairs.

A downstairs bedroom with an ensuite could easily be converted into a home office, Mr Xu added.
