Aussie golden couple Lance “Buddy” Franklin and wife Jesinta have relisted their luxury mansion with a $10.9m price tag, 12 months after it went to auction.
The former AFL star and his fashion influencer wife are again attempting to sell Villa Casa, their glamorous Mediterranean-inspired home on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
The property hit the headlines last year when it was put up for sale and taken off the market within two months.
The house combines concrete, arches and greenery.

This week however Mr Franklin confirmed the family would be moving into a new property — a hobby farm — by Christmas.
“It has taken us purchasing our next property to be fully ready to let this one go,” Mr Franklin said.
“It’s time, and we can’t wait for our first Christmas with the kids on the new property.
“We’ve always envisioned raising the kids on a hobby farm.”
“They’ll have ponies by Christmas, and I know this move is the perfect step for our family.

The high-profile couple, who have two children and are expecting their third, paid $8.75m in 2023 for Villa Casa.
The home was designed by architect Reece Keil, built by Tidal Constructions and crowned the Gold Coast house of the year in 2022.
The property appears to float above the skyline and has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms across the main house and a granny flat.

“Villa Casa truly is a home I could only have dreamed of living in,” Mr Franklin said.
“As soon as you step inside, the panoramic views of the Gold Coast skyline and ocean just take your breath away.
“The quality of construction is something everyone comments on, it’s a home that could never be repeated or rebuilt.
“It really is a one-of-one.
“That makes the decision to sell extremely difficult, but at the same time, I’m so excited about what lies ahead.
“With a new baby arriving and lots of lawns for me to mow, I just hope Santa brings me a ride-on mower this year.”

Mrs Franklin said selling Villa Casa was a “deeply emotional process”.
“This home is truly one of a kind, and one that holds so many memories,” she said.
“But as our family continues to grow, we have dreamt and been searching for nearly two years, for a special piece of land where we could build a farmhouse, raise horses and chickens, and plant vegetable gardens.
“We’ve finally found that place, closer to my parents and our children’s school, and it feels like the right move for our family.”

Villa Casa features a kitchen with a half-moon island bench that flows into a living zone overlooking the city.
The main bedroom includes a 4m headboard and a vaulted tunnel leading to a dressing room and ensuite.
Outdoor amenities are reminiscent of a resort, with a glamorous terrace running the length of the magnesium pool with swim-up bar, while there’s also a built-in barbecue, games room and living room with panoramic views.
The couple have engaged Whitefox Real Estate’s Dijana Speak and Nic Whitehead to handle the sale of Villa Casa with strong off-market interest already recorded in the lead-up to the formal sales campaign.
