Rayse expands platform with new home seller tools

Real estate technology company Rayse has launched a seller-focused module aimed at helping listing agents provide clearer communication and real-time updates to clients throughout the sales process.

The new tool is the company’s first major product expansion since its 2024 launch.

Originally focused on buyer-side transactions, Rayse is now offering agents a way to document and share their behind-the-scenes work with sellers through a centralized platform.

“Our mission has always been to elevate the role of the agent and give them the tools to clearly communicate their value,” said James Dwiggins, co-founder and co-CEO of Rayse. “This seller version is a natural next step, and the early response has been incredible. Agents now have one centralized place to log and share all the activity — marketing, offers, updates — keeping clients informed and confident every step of the way.”

The company says the new seller-side platform was developed in response to national data showing that many sellers underestimate the time and effort involved in listing a home.

In a recent survey commissioned by Rayse, 51% of sellers said they believed their agent spent fewer than 20 hours on the sale.

At the same time, 96% said it was important to receive real-time updates from their agent via text or app — and 82% wanted visibility into what agents were doing behind the scenes.

Notably, 64% said they would be willing to pay more for that level of transparency — with an additional 25% indicating they might.

The company’s earlier buyer-side platform gained attention after it published a study showing 46% of buyers believed agents spent fewer than 15 hours on their purchase. Rayse said that agents generally complete more than 200 tasks across 80 to 100 hours during a typical transaction.

Rayse is currently being adopted by several real estate organizations, including five multiple listing services (MLSs) representing more than 139,000 agents. Those MLSs commit to covering the full cost of the platform for their members, the company said.

“Rayse is transforming the way agents communicate their value,” said Andy Fegley, CEO of Phoenix Realtors. “Our members are thrilled to have a tool that not only supports transparency but also deepens the relationship between agents and clients during one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.”

The seller-facing module is launching as additional MLSs prepare to offer Rayse to members in the coming months.
