Potts Point terrace with ‘insane’ Luigi Rosselli reno listed

Serial Potts Point house flippers Maurice Violani and Jessica Yates have listed their latest creation, a stunning terrace with an “insane” Luigi Rosselli reno.
The clever couple — Violani is partner at Oc & C Strategy Consultants and Yates is an e-commerce expert and luxury buying specialist — had previously owned a terrace at 81 Victoria St, which they sold for $6,275,000 in November, 2022.
They’d bought it for $3.4m, sourced the best Italian marble and did a $1.9m reno with the help of designer Tasmin Johnson.
But then the house across the street, at 88 Victoria St, came up for sale. They’d told the Wentworth Courier at the time: “It’s the last unrenovated three-storey terrace … completely untouched from 1979 — we thought: why don’t we do the same thing all over again!”
Records show they bought it for $5.71m (it had last traded for $114,000 in 1979!).

They engaged the acclaimed architect Luigi Rosselli and Tasmin Johnston for the transformation.
It’s now complete, and the four-level, five-bedroom terrace with two car spaces has a $10m guide in an expressions of interest campaign via Jason Boon and Geoff Cox of Richardson and Wrench Elizabeth Bay/Potts Point.
“It’s an unbelievable renovation, insane,” Boon said, who estimates the couple have spent between $3.5m and $4m on the transformation.
“It’s the best I’ve seen in years, amazing … a well-blended combination of classic and modern.”
The property also comes with DA approval to extend the rear further and add a car stacker on the 187sqm block.

Behind its wrought-iron fence and palm-framed garden, a sandstone porch and arched entry hall lead to formal living and dining rooms with soaring ceilings and marble fireplaces.
There’s also a landscaped courtyard by Wyer & Co., extending to the secure parking with rear-lane access.
The adjoining state-of-the-art kitchen features V-Zug ovens, induction cooktop, Miele integrated fridge and wine fridge, flowing to a casual living space at rear, also opening to the courtyard.
The three upper levels feature a master suite opening to a timber-decked balcony, along with walk-in robes, and a double-sink ensuite.
Additional bedrooms offer built-in robes and serene outlooks, while the top floor features a roof terrace, kitchenette, and full ensuite.
It would be ideal as a study or fifth bedroom, with city skyline views.
