Inside Novus.
And if the media attention is anything to go by, it’s a collaboration hitting all the right notes.

Luxury at every turn.

“Our vision is to build high-end luxury homes for busy families,” Mr Steyn said.
“They’re functional and practical but with all the amenities that people want such as a pool, open plan living, and the ability to entertain on weekends.
“Novus embodies all that in a timeless design that’s all about connection.”
The design maximises space.
The living area spills to the outdoor entertaining area.
Built around a central courtyard, the home features multiple entertaining spaces, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
On the ground floor, giant timber and glass doors open up to create a vast entertaining space that encompasses the kitchen, dining area, lounge, courtyard, and covered al fresco zone with outdoor kitchen.
“We really look at how people use homes,” Mr Steyn said. “It’s great for entertaining as everything is on that middle floor, and I love the fact it accommodates family so you can be in the kitchen cooking but also have kids in the pool and supervise with ease.”
High-end finishes are a common theme.
As well as showstopper voids.
Upstairs are further living areas and four of the property’s five bedrooms, including an expansive master suite with private balcony.
A second master is located on the ground floor, making the home ideal for guests or dual living.
“We’re really working around that idea of family, and connecting families within big houses is important to us,” Mr Steyn said.
“People have busy lives so when they come home it’s all about coming together.”
Another living area.
Beneath the home is a five-car basement garage with car turntable, along with a cinema, wine cellar with pool viewing window, and a gym.
“The extra carparks allow for families where young adults are likely to be staying at home longer,” Mr Steyn said. “And wine cellars are massively popular, so we incorporated that into the basement.”
The property enjoys an elevated flood-free position with views stretching over the streets of Auchenflower to the city beyond, and it’s all located within walking distance of Rosalie, Paddington, and Milton State School.
“It’s such a convenient location,” Mr Steyn said.
Make a splash in the pool.
The home is also designed with the Queensland climate in mind, while the materials used are intended to stand the test of time.
“People really comment on the high-quality materials,” Mr Steyn said.
“The reaction’s been amazing.
“We had over 100 groups through the first open home and there have been more than 60,000 views on Instagram in the last 30 days.
“That’s a lot of eyes on this house and there’s been such a great reaction with almost everyone complimenting it.”
