Cabarita has seen its existing record holder sell for a fresh $16.7m record.

The Phillips St property last sold for a record $14,620,000 in 2022 to former Wallabies prop and publican Bill Young and his wife Anna.

The five bedroom, five bathroom 2014-built home sits on a 1303sq m riverfront holding.

Two-time selling agent Ben Horwood of Horwood Nolan marketed it as “one of the finest residences in the Inner West”.
