Century 21 expands in North Carolina with new rural affiliation

Century 21 Real Estate is expanding its footprint in northeastern North Carolina through the affiliation of Carolina Land and Home Realty — a full-service brokerage based in Ahoskie.

The office will now operate as Century 21 Land and Home Realty.

Broker-owner Clay Revelle, a native of Northampton County, purchased the brokerage in 2021. He holds a degree in agricultural business management from North Carolina State University and began his real estate career in 2010 with a focus on farm, land, residential and commercial sales throughout the region.

“Many of us grew up in northeastern North Carolina — we understand the land, the people, and the culture,” Revelle said in a statement. “We’re in a unique position where we’re able to do it all, by understanding the complexities of our community.

“The Century 21 brand name will help elevate our position even further, allowing us to continue to provide our homegrown service, while offering us enhanced tools to streamline our efforts.”

Revelle is joined by his wife, Rachel, and a team of North Carolina-based agents. Together, they serve a rural client base across Hertford, Gates, Northampton and Bertie counties — a region with a range of unique property needs including farms, historic homes, waterfront properties and hunting land.

As part of the Century 21 network, Revelle and his team will gain access to the brand’s technology platform, marketing resources, agent education and lead generation tools.

Revelle plans to use the affiliation to recruit top-producing agents and explore growth through future acquisitions.

Ahoskie is part of North Carolina’s Inner Banks region — known for its natural inlets and quiet outdoor lifestyle.
