Aussie radio host and TV reality star Brittany Hockley and her new husband Ben Siegrist have snapped up a $2.4m Gold Coast home but they have no plans to live in it.
The couple bought the Palm Springs stunner, known as Casa Palma, on their wedding night last month.
It appears to be an investment before the couple reunite — Hockley is currently based in Melbourne and Siegrist plays for Genoa FC in Italy’s Serie A.

Hockley shared the news earlier this month with her followers.
“Married and a house this past month, what a time! (We actually bought this on our wedding night … must have been feeling the good vibes and/or had a few too many cocktails),” Hockley shared.
“This is just the start. Can’t wait to show you more! We love it.”
The home will be available for style shoots.

The home, complete with curved concrete garden walls, an exotic indoor garden, and resort-style pool area, has its own Instagram account with 17,000 followers: “Luxe GC home – available for style shoots. Coming soon.”
The house is a far cry from when it last sold in 2020.
Sellers Haley Rivers and Matthew Ellison took a punt on a dilapidated red brick home when they bought the house they described as an “ugly duckling”.

“It was definitely an ugly ducking but it had good bones,” Ms Rivers said.
“We could see past the horror and had this vision of a resort-style, white rendered home with a coastal indoor-outdoor vibe.”
Initially, the couple gave the home a quick preliminary makeover and then brought in Habitat Studio Architects to help bring their vision of a sun-drenched Palm Springs-inspired showstopper to life.
The home has been meticulously renovated.
Two years in the design and renovation phase, the transformation was nothing short of jaw-dropping.
Gone was all trace of red brick, instead replaced with crisp white render.
Lush green plants spill from giant rooftop planter boxes, while the lacklustre suburban ‘80s facade has been reimagined courtesy of curved concrete garden walls, and timber-look aluminium batons.

Inside, the property’s former garage has been transformed into vast a master suite that connects to the main house via a hotel-like breezeway foyer.
Meanwhile, a former eyesore in the lounge area has become a funky drawcard.
The living room previously housed an unsightly atrium in the centre, which has now been incorporated into a raised bar area with exotic indoor garden and automated lighting.
In the backyard, the pool area has been redesigned as an urban oasis, complete with feature palms that were craned into the property.

The result is private, impeccably presented residence that maximises every centimetre of its 771sq m block and is ideal for both family living and entertaining.
In total, the home now features five bedrooms and three bathrooms, along with multiple living zones and a central kitchen area that opens out to a bar and outdoor entertaining space adjacent to the heated pool and spa.
PropTrack data reveals the median house price in Mermaid Waters is $1.975m, up 9.4 per cent over 12 months.
Taylor Kleinberg and Thibault Paralini of Kollosche Broadbeach marketed the property.
