De Ville is the latest luxury Manly development aimed at downsizers wanting a great location and top finishes.

It’s being launched this week, consists of 12 apartments and in a first for Manly has 10-year latent defects insurance.

Belle Property Manly’s Dax Whitehead says the developers are so confident of the quality and longevity of their work they are offering the most generous of defect insurance, the gold standard in building protection.

The two and three-bedroom apartments come with either two or three bathrooms and offer one or two car spots. Located at 11 Victoria Pde, the apartments are being sold off the plan with prices ranging from $3.5m up to $14m.

Some of the apartments in the block will have both harbour and ocean views.

Construction starts next month and completion is expected at the end of 2027.

The apartments are designed by Platform Architects.

The seven-level development will have five retail and commercial outlets on the ground floor, two levels of basement parking and six two-bedroom apartments, three three-bedroom apartments and three whole-floor apartments – one with a rooftop terrace.

De Ville is at the harbour end of Victoria Pde. Many of the apartments will have both ocean and harbour views and a heritage building – which gave the building its name – will be incorporated into the development.

Designed by Platform Architects, De Ville will have distinctive vertical brickwork on the exterior and inside marble and timber features, oversized internal accommodation and terraces with water views.

De Ville is built over seven levels.

The block is expected to attract owner occupiers from the upper and lower north shore.

The lower-level apartments will have generous courtyards while the upper floors will enjoy panoramic views and sea breezes. The design has taken its inspiration from the ebb and flow of the water – there are curved walls, curved balustrades of glass on the terraces and an emphasis on both views and privacy.

The main bedrooms will have marble ensuites with a freestanding bath, double vanities and walk-in wardrobe. The kitchens will have a choice of veined stone benchtops.

De Ville is just 100m from the harbour and the wharf and 200m from the ocean.

“I expect investors will be interested in the two-bedroom apartments, owner-occupiers in the bigger apartments and downsizers from the upper and lower north shore will be drawn to the penthouses,” Whitehead says.
